I was raised in a family deeply rooted in the legal profession. I am the grandson of the late Mr. Seeralan s/o Suppiah, a respected and prominent Malaysian lawyer. His case, Public Prosecutor v Seeralan Suppiah [1985] 2 MLJ 30 (SC), remains a landmark decision and continues to be cited by legal practitioners in Malaysia. This legacy played a significant role in shaping my decision to pursue a career in law and uphold the principles of advocacy and justice.

I commenced my legal education at Brickfields Asia College through a law degree twinning programme with the University of Aberystwyth, United Kingdom, and later completed the Bar Professional Training Course at BPP University, Birmingham. I was subsequently called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, United Kingdom.

Upon returning to Malaysia, I completed my pupillage at Messrs T. Rajagopalu & Co under the guidance of my pupil master, Mr. Thinalan a/l T. Rajagopalu. After gaining practical experience in legal practice, I established Kishen Seeralan & Associates with a commitment to delivering principled, client-focused legal services.
